The iron chips are difficult to remove. Because of the drilling depth and deep hole processing procedure is long, it’s easy to block inside the gun drill and cause the drill bit broken. Thus, the length of the chips should under control and also force to chip removing.
The rigidity of deep hole drilling is not so good. Because of the limit of drilling hole diameter and drilling depth, the drill shank is long and slim, the rigidity is poor, which is easy to skewness, as a consequence, the drill stem support frame is very important. Hence, the for gun drilling machine, rigidity is an very important factor in deep hole drilling.
