Deep hole drilling tool, also named gun drilling tool. It mainly used in deep hole drilling machine. For the gun drilling tool, there are all together three parts, drill bit, drill stem and drill shank. The coolant oil enter from the drill shank, then to the drill bit. The chips removes from the V-shape groove ,and to the guide chip remover. For this kind of processing method, it can get a good roughness and precision.

Also coating gun drill, has the advantages of high surface hardness, good abrasion performance,stable chemical properties,and small friction. And the common coatings are:TiAlN, TiN.
