BTA(single tube) deep hole drilling is introduced internal chip removing and external coolant. Drill head is connected with drill stem through screw. Because of internal chip removing, the connection parts are circle so that achieves higher rigidity than gun drilling tool. Its drilling efficiency is 2 to 4 times higher than gun drilling. BTA deep hole drilling requires higher sealing between workpiece and guide bush as well as high coolant oil pressure. Single tube drilling is proper for high volume and continuous processing which requires high efficiency. Especialy , it should be first used in processing of hard chip breaking material like stainless steel, low carbon steel, etc. and deep hole of big length and diameter ratio. This series’ usage is wide, but limited by the space of inner hole of drill stem , it’s mainly used in drilling deep hole diameter bigger than 16mm.
The workpiece shall be rotated or fixed and the drill stem is rotated feeding. The feeding guides are rolling guides, which feature as high rigidity, steady movement and good precision maintaining.
